Pho Pasteur, Sydney - Review

If you’re after a quick fresh meal while you’re out and about in Sydney city, look no further than Pho Pasteur in Chinatown. This no-frills Vietnamese restaurant is a popular spot for students and workers in the area, known best for its quick service and authentic flavours.

From the street, Pho Pasteur may look pretty plain, but we can safely say the food is anything but boring. The menu at Pho Pasteur is full of Vietnamese classics, but main attraction here is the bowls of delicious pho. They pump out these fresh bowls of soupy goodness hot and fast, so you’ll never be waiting long for your meal!

For those with a big appetite, get yourself a large bowl of pho with rare beef - you won’t be disappointed by the weighty portions. Top your pho with beans sprout and mint, season with the sauces provided, and wash down your meal with the fresh pot of complimentary tea. If you like a bit of crunch, order a plate of the fried spring rolls - these are some of the best we’ve had in Sydney.

We love the flavourful pho broth, filling portions and reasonable prices here at Pho Pasteur, and it looks like lots of others do too. It’s a popular spot for lunch and dinner, with all of its tables usually full during peak hours. There’s a reason diners keep coming back for more!
