Dosa Plaza, Harris Park - Review

There’s no shortage of Indian fare in Harris Park, but Dosa Plaza is one of the best for Southern Indian cuisine in the area.

A modern restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food, Dosa Plaza is an Indian restaurant chain with locations in all across Australia - they must be doing something right!

Delicious perfectly cooked potatoes in a large dough crepe with amazing Indian sauces on the side.

As the name suggests, Dosa Plaza is known for their house-made dosa. For those who aren’t familiar with dosa, it’s a South Indian staple which reminds us of a large crispy crepe. Dosa can be have many different fillings - our favourite would be the butter masala, which comes stuffed with piping hot spiced potatoes.

Each plate here at Dosa Plaza comes with delicious little pots of curry sauce and chutneys, which definitely makes this a meal full of flavour! The guys here have the whole process nailed - they even have special plates that fit their dosas and accompaniments perfectly. For those who aren’t the biggest fans of chilli, you’ll find the dosa here has just the right about of spice without being too overwhelming.

Aside from the main attraction, Dosa Plaza has lots of fusion dishes on the menu - like French sandwiches, pastas and Chinese stir fry - all with a bit of an Indian twist. They also have plenty of Indian favourites like pani puri and mango lassi to satisfy your cravings. if you’re in the mood for some modern yet authentic Indian food, give Dosa Plaza a try next time you’re in Harris Park!
