Al Aseel, Bankstown - Review

Al Aseel has been a heavyweight in the Lebanese cuisine space for a long time, and their new Bankstown location is a beautiful space inside Bankstown Sports.

We recently dined at Al Aseel Bankstown and had a lovely experience. Walking into the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised. With a modern interior filled with skylights and natural accents, Al Aseel Bankstown is worlds away from the decor of some of their other locations. The restaurant definitely has a classy vibe, and you would be completely forgiven for forgetting that it sits within the Bankstown Sport Club complex.

The food at Al Aseel Bankstown is the same offering as their other locations - traditional Lebanese dips, mezza, and meat dishes. We ordered a selection of dips and fattoush salad, along with their famous lemon garlic chicken and the skewer medley. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.

The prices here are a little higher than other Al Aseel locations, however Bankstown Sports Club members get 10% discount so ends up evening out the price for members. Make sure to tell the staff you’re a member, otherwise they’ll  just quickly process the bill so you won’t have time to realise… we found this out the hard way!

Overall, we would recommend visiting Al Aseel’s Bankstown location. Considering it’s so close to their Greenacre flagship, it is really worth visiting? Well, we’d say yes. It’s great option for those wanting the traditional Al Aseel experience with a modern refined twist.
